The Southpointe Chamber of Commerce recognized, early on, the great potential the oil and gas industry would have in Washington County, Pennsylvania and the surrounding area. To get ahead of the curve, organizers decided to create a quarterly publication with information about the oil and gas industry and the business park also giving local businesses an opportunity to advertise.
I managed all aspects of the 40+ page publication for three installments. The only content that was provided to me was the articles and a few advertisements from corporate design departments. The layout and the formatting were the biggest challenges I faced on this project. I designed the cover of each issue along with several advertisements from local businesses. I also created and maintained an accurate map of the Southpointe business park to be used as a centerfold in each issue.
